The photo with the dog

Gillard with dog

I wouldn't like to have every move I make  by photographers and the public so I tend not to go for the "look how he/she looks" commentary.

Some one in the PM's team has decided that a dog should feature as a part of Julia and Tim's family.   I think their decision to include the dog in official functions makes comment about the photos quite appropriate.

Location 999 sent me this note earlier today and he's just updated it.

It has been removed now, but earlier today Gillard tweeted a photo of the first fog Rueben at the Australian of the Year ceremony. Gillard had a hamburger, as described in the tweet, in her out stretched hand at her eye level. The photo showed poor Rueben leaping from the ground and obviously trying to retrieve the hamburger. Sadly for Rueben his leap was about knee high. The photo spoke a thousand words in relation to Gillard's poor judgement. Who on earth, not least the PM of Australia, would tease a dog like this, keeping in mind this was an official Australian of the Year ceremony.

My kids learned from about 3 years of age not to tease dogs with food.  You don't get them to jump like that.   It makes me wonder how real the whole family dog thing is.

And less surprising is the insight into what amuses our Prime Minister.
