Australia's minister for defence posts her media releases here:
Not a word about President Trump's agreement with North Korea for the location and repatriation of MIAs from the Korean War. Nothing about what that means for Australia.
Today our Minister for Defence announces that she'll be in Tonga to facilitate a workshop.
Facilitate a workshop? It'd want to be an important one to occupy the Defence Minister's time.
This from her media release:
“I will promote the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda while in Tonga by facilitating a WPS workshop with Australian Defence Force and His Majesty’s Armed Forces personnel as part of Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2018,” Minister Payne said.
Lest We Forget.
