SBS - Go Back to Where you Came From

I received this email from a rather well-informed reader of the blog, he's asked me to post it in full - here it is.
Hi Michael
Hope you are well.
Was wondering if there is going to be another SBS series? If there is please could you use your influence to suggest that rather than “follow the journey of an asylum seeker” that they should “follow the journey of a Centrelink dollar”.
We could start with it being received by a newly arrived refugee in Australia, then it being sent through the Hawala system to a family member in Kabul to fund his journey to Australia , follow it to the office across the road from the Police Chief in Kabul for payment for fake travel documents and an official “death threat” letter, then to the people smuggler in Pakistan to buy an air ticket to Jakarta via Dubai, then to the Indonesian fisherman who brings the illegal boat entrant into Australia and then start the whole process again with a new Centrelink dollar from this newly arrived refugee which could again be sent back through the Hawala system to Kabul only this time be used by a people smuggler to bribe the Taliban to allow access to people smuggling routes into Pakistan, this would then be used to buy weapons or explosives which are used to kill Australian soldiers in Afghanistan.
SBS could have a never ending series but somehow I don’t think they would ever consider showing the other side of the asylum seeker story.
Thanks for your contribution to Australian society and best regards
