The AWU Scandal - Get Set for a Very Big Day - Thefts from National Construction Branch

Today we will be expanding your understanding of the background to the AWU Scandal.   Quite a few sleuths have been gathering details through interviews with key players and from old microfiche and other media reports.

Here's a start.

This letter to the Industrial Registrar about Bruce's branch (after he lost the Victorian leadership job) the National Construction Branch shold ring some alarm bells.   This official report on AWU letterhead to the Industrial Registrar (would be Fair Work Ausralia now, the body responsible for unions) reported serious theft (cover-up?).   Who was reported to police Bill?

I will apologise in advance for the quality of some of the reproductions - many of these documents are from personal files kept by individuals, I am satisfied as to their bona fides.

The following excellent report in the AFR by Mark Davis gets Bill Ludwig "on the record" at about the same time as the Industrial Registrar was being advised about the large-scale theft of records and incriminatory computers from the National Construction Branch, run by Wilson.

I will put the PDF/PNG files here in full.   If you click on them your computer should take you to a separate copy of the image where you can enlarge and zero in to assist elderly eyes (like mine, now 1.5 verging on 2 at the paper shop, younger it-will-never-happen-to-me readers stop it!   Your time will come too)

Note Bob Carr's appointment of Cambridge to the bench.   That left Bill.   All roads lead to Bill.   Where's the police action about the bloke who knocked your computers and records off Bill?
