The AWU Scandal - The BCITF FOI Response - All The Records Were Destroyed
Thursday, 13 September 2012
The Western Australian Government's statutory authority known as the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund allocated money to Thiess for the Dawesville Cutting Project to be used to "operate the site as a model site for workplace reform and innovative training delivery."
Sadly, the BCITF can't tell us what Thiess said in its application for the money. All the paperwork has been destroyed. Here's their letter to Harry Nowicki in response to his FOI application.
But don't go away just yet. There are some developments (well my interpretation anyway). That will be in the next post.
