This morning a person with serious money made me an offer to fund the creation of a "proper news website" for me to operate.

You know that I'm operating this site through an off-the-shelf blog program called typepad.  I'm sure it frustrates you like it frustrates me.

I now ask the www/internet/IT savvy community to submit an offer to build a news website for me to operate.

I would imagine it will be somewhat like the SMH or The Australian or similar.

The AWU Scandal is not the only matter worthy of coverage!   

I'd envisage the site will take reports from correspondents other than me too.

So I now call for tenders for the creation and maintenance for one year of a new platform to host www.michaelsmithnews.com

I'll have to include the transfer of everything currently here and an inherently simple indexing system that makes information easily accessible.
