The 1991 letter from Gillard to Wilson raised in the Parliament today

This letter sets out the sort of advice you'd expect a lawyer to give in a matter based on union rules.
It appears to be based on knowledge of the rules, it's apparently factual and the recipient could reasonably rely on it in doing his job.
I present it here by way of comparison with the complete disregard for the union's rules in the matter of the incorporation of the AWU-WRA by the same lawyer.
