The next entry in the Kalgoorlie Miner (that I'm aware of) announces Wilson's visit to the Goldfields with Gillard, this small pointer ran on Friday 15 May, 1992.

And then this on Monday, 18 May 1992, announcing the takeover of the fund, note Ms Gillard's role.
