Ralph Blewitt about his knowledge of orders against him, his address for service and efforts by the AWU to get its money
Wednesday, 20 February 2013
Ralph Blewitt left the AWU on 16 August, 1995 with a redundancy cheque.
Have a look at this post on the orders for repayment of the "redundancy" payments. You'll see the date of the order is 4 June, 1996.
As you'll hear, Blewitt was at his marital home address, well known to the union, during all of 1996.
He says he is unaware of orders against him for the repayment of the redundancy money.
He says he was not served with papers in matter 2082/96 in which he is a respondent and open to the making of orders and judgements.
Blewitt also states that he had some financial assets and that his marital assets were the subject of Family Court Proceedings in which he emerged with more than enough cash to satisfy the Order to repay the false redundancy payment.
Why then did the AWU take no action to get its money back?
