Michael. You nailed it in your 22/12/12 Post. There is only one logical explanation for this: "What is perplexing is that all of the cheques intended for the AWU-WRA account, although coded to the general AWU Cost Code C 93732 (indicating to Thiess internal audit that a legitimate payment was being made to the AWU) were mailed to the private and secret Post Office Box 253 Northbridge. Legitimate payments to the AWU (for example for membership dues) were differentiated by being sent to the AWU normal address for accounts receivable at PO Box 3122 Stirling Street, Perth (see for example police FOI page 577). Someone in Thiess knew the difference - and the secrecy of the AWU WRA was apparently never blown by cheques going to the wrong AWU address" My views have not changed since I wrote these posts in October last year Posted by: hillbilly33 | Tuesday, 09 October 2012 at 03:15 AM "Perfect team for a perfect sting" Posted by: hillbilly33 | Monday, 29 October 2012 at 07:46 AM "Update" http://www.michaelsmithnews.com/2012/10/the-intellectual-firepower-behind-this-blog.html?cid=6a0177444b0c2e970d017c3265cf71970b#comment-6a0177444b0c2e970d017c3265cf71970b The clincher on their involvement for me is, that all the main suspects in the fraud are trying to shift all the focus and blame onto Ralph Blewitt. Their efforts fall short when Wilson's main unauthorised Melbourne slush a/c is taken into consideration, where Blewitt had no input.  Especially when $27,500 happened to be paid out of it under the signatures of Bruce Wilson and Jim Collins, to Greek builders, on dates which by some extraordinarily lucky coincidence for Julia Gillard tallied with the times her home was renovated.  That was after, "Bruce, whilst I was away decided that I should just get it done" and with a group of friends demolished the bathroom and AWU official Jim Collins organised other tradespeople to complete the extensive works on that and other rooms.  ($17,500 in October 1994 and $10,000 in April 1995)! Council and government regulations must have been a lot more lenient those days or "the boys" were able to get planning approval fast-tracked.
