The latest Nielsen radio ratings survey for Sydney shows 2GB's continued leadership.

Congratulations in particular to Ben Fordham who's won the ratings drive slot along with Ross Greenwood's finance show (6-7PM).   It's very difficult for a talk format show at that end of the day to lead the ratings, most people are a bit over talk by late afternoon and settle for music.

Ray Hadley's audience is 5 times greater than Paul Murray's on 2UE, which rates 3.9% versus Hadley 18.9%, 10% clear of his nearest rival.  Put another way, about 1 in every 5 radios will be tuned to Ray Hadley as you look at the cars around you.   1 in every 25 will be on 2UE.  That's a very difficult obstacle for radio advertising sales people to overcome.
