The Future of Citizen Journalism - we grabbed a bloke passing City Tattersalls to file this report
Thursday, 25 July 2013
This is citizen journalism at it's absolute peak. A bloke who was walking past City Tattersall's Club tonight filed this report from the Craig Thomson Legal Defence Fund Gala Fundraising dinner, where 22 of Sydney's most optimistic people have gathered to sink schooners and listen to Chris McArdle get on it and regale the audience with the size of his invoice.
It's the night where Bob Ellis is employed to lighten the mood! And for the grand finale, Craig Thomson himself will speak saying something like, "Well, Sydney City Council had a bike care and maintenance course on tonight that we didn't know about, so that will have stolen a fair bit of the crowd. So..... yeah."

Here now is the bloke we paid with a packet of chewie and a couple of bits of cubed cheese from the bar snacks to file this report on the night of nights, live from City Tatts.
