What version would you like?   The one I told Tony Jones, the one we decided at our meetings, what we told the Corporate Affairs Commissioner?

On the question of who was the Public Officer of the Socialist Forum.

On 2 October, 1985, the Management Committee met and declared the following office-holders;

Crystal clear.   Bruce Hartnett is the Public Officer.  Note Julia Gillard was not present at that meeting.

A few weeks later at the 21 November 1985 meeting Julia Gillard was present.   And at that meeting she was declared the Public Officer:

But someone must have forgotten to tell the Corporate watchdog in Victoria.   This letter was sent to Mr Hartnett in October, 1987.

That letter called for the lodgement of a "Statement of Annual General Meeting" on a Form 11.
