Craig Thomson charged taxpayers for airfares to Melbourne on the same day as his court appearance

On 22 May 2013 Craig Thomson appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

On that same day his Parliamentary Expenses Report shows that he flew these sectors charged to the taxpayer - Business Class do you mind!

He was then an independent MP and was not a member of any committee or charged with conducting any parliamentary business.

On 31 January 2013 Thomson was arrested at Bateau Bay because he had refused to travel to Melbourne to meet with police. His travel records show this travel on 17 January 2013.
