Lots of reports today about the late Michael Hutchence - Jason Morrison is the newsman who broke the story of his death

Back in the days of two-way radios for newsrooms, Jason Morrison got the tip, got to the scene and got the news first with this report live to air. Note too Jason's decision not to name the late Mr Hutchence until he was sure his mum and dad had been told in person. Jason had it then and he still has it, he's the archetypal newsman.
