Michael is at the Court in Melbourne today

Thomson's lawyer Greg James QC has told the Court Thommo will payback the $24,538 he pinched from the HSU.

Remember that money, that he didn't take. The money he told Parliament he'd been set up over ... well he's paying it back now.

Thomson now has "major depressive illness" ..."in need of treatment best delivered by specialists outside of prison"

And another change of tune....

Mr James now says Thomson's offending was opportunistic and happened while his relationship with his wife (not the latest one) was breaking down.

The line of the day ... "He sought comfort elsewhere"!!

So, it did happen after all. WOW.
