Mr Kirgan has taken the affirmation and is now in the witness box.

He has made a few corrections to his statement of 1 August 2014, including some specific changes to references to Mr Dastyari.

Mr Kirgan has not been paid the $103,000 owing to him as a result of Gerard Hayes's last campaign. Mr Kirgan has been told that he will be paid after the next HSU election. What a fine bunch of people Mr Hayes and his mates are.
