Tom Pacey has been sworn.   He describes his professional tertiary qualifications and his work history, including time working for Senator Steve Hutchins.

He explained that Tony Sheldon recruited him to the TWU.   He explained that he was told he was to work on the Queensland campaign to oust Hughie Williams.

Mr Pacey has the audience's complete attention when he describes the "framework of the campaign"  to flick Hughie and put Mr Sheldon's man in place.

Mr Pacey describes that he was instructed to use a personal email account for the Queensland campaign for the purpose of " prudence".   He was told to set up a gmail account by Daniel Mookhey because there was his official work and then there was this "side project" .

Mr Pacey can't recall producing flyers commonly known as "shit sheets" involving Hughie Williams.

Mr Pacey says that the boss was Scott Connelly - that is the man who was Senator David Feeney's Chief of Staff on the taxpayer salary at the time.
