Tom Pacey is back in the witness box after lunch at the Royal Commission
Wednesday, 20 August 2014
Mr Pacey has told the Commission that he took leave from his day job to work on the Queensland campaign to oust Hughie Williams. He is being shown his leave records which don't quite show that to be the case. He took two weeks leave but other than that he was paid by the national office.
Mr Pacey says that at the end of the campaign his personal finances were getting tight because there was no money coming in.
Here is a photo of Bill Shorten, the man who ousted Hughie ie Peter Biagini and Terri Butler who took Kevin Rudd's old seat of Griffith. It's from the saferates.org.au website which was established as part of Julia Gillard and others in their campaign to marginalise small transport operators and hand large slabs of business in big transport operators who pay lots of money to the TWU.
And here's the man they put in, Peter Biagini showing his Labor Forum credentials.
Here's Peter Tone and Wayne
And here's the bloke they flicked, Hughie Williams.
