"Did you tell Mr Mader to transfer money to support Mr Riordan's campaign in the ETU elections?"

Mr Sheldon said words to the effect that he'd need more information.   He is being rewarded in spades with lots of supporting documentation.

"I listened to Mr Mader giving that evidence and I have no recollection of ever saying that to Mr Mader."

"Did you tell him to use an international transfer for the money?"

"Obviously you don't know me because an international transfer would be the last thing I would do."

Mr Sheldon has no recollection of that taking place.

Stoljar, "Do you have any kjnowledge of a transfer of $20,000 to ...."

"Well, first of all I'm not a participant in any fund in Victoria.   Blah blah blah".

Sheldon wierdness

Mr Sheldon is being shown a bundle of documents called "TWU Membership Numbers"

  Membership numbers

Mr Sheldon is being shown documents that the Royal Commission has procured under its powers of compulsion under a Notice to Produce.

"You know that the roll is required to keep names and postal addresses for each member.   ARe you involved in giving instructions for solicitors for the TWU about Notices to Produce?"

"Well there's the state union, then there's the sub-branch of the national union, in the case of any branch, there are requests that are made about keeping records, regarding, sorry, let me be clear about what question you are asking......."

Stoljar, "At this point, despite a Notice to Produce, the membership rolls have not been produced".

Sheldon, "bullshit bullshit bullshit bullshit bullshit:"

Sheldon, "Our desire is to give you the information that you require......"

HE SENT THE UNION A NOTICE TO PRODUCE MATE

Mr Sheldon has been excused while Mr Riordan gives evidence.
