Jason Morrison cops some spiteful reaction after missing out on pre-selection for Barry O'Farrell's seat

Tracey Spicer's mean-spirited response (below) is so undeserved, Jason Morrison is a great bloke who would have made a superb local member in Ku-ring-gai. Tracey, I think you owe Jason, Heidi and the boys an apology.
My friend Jason Morrison today dipped out on pre-selection for Barry O'Farrell's safe Liberal seat of Ku-ring-gai.
Congratulations to Alister Henskens SC who's been pre-selected by the Liberal Party - here's the Daily Telegraph's report:
Barrister Alister Henskens takes over Barry O’Farrell’s former seat of Ku-ring-gai
THE barrister who represented the former energy minister Chris Hartcher at the recent corruption inquiry into political donations, Alister Henskens, SC, has won Liberal Party selection for Barry O’Farrell’s seat of Ku-ring-gai.
Mr Henskens was one of eight candidates vying for the blue ribbon seat.
Former talk show presenter and adviser to mining billionaire Gina Rinehart, Jason Morrison, was among the frontrunners but was knocked out in the final stages of the ballot.
I don't know Mr Henskens but I wish him well in the seat. I do know Jason Morrison very well, he's a great bloke and I hope we can see a lot more of him on our site this year.
I've often heard Jason speak of Tracey Spicer, one of the journalists who worked at Channel Ten when Jason was Chief of Staff at the network. I've never heard him say a bad word about Tracey and her husband, quite the opposite actually, so it was quite a surprise to read these mean-spirited messages from Tracey this afternoon.
Surely not. I thought NSW Libs were more moderate than that: Gina's spinner Jason Morrison runs 4 seat of Ku-ring-gai http://t.co/qjPcOXcVzY

and this after Jason's loss to Alister was announced.
Sanity prevailed in Hornsby preselection: Jason Morrison came third.

There's nothing immoderate about Jason, he would have made a fine local member in Ku-ring-gai. Tracey, I think you owe Jason and his family an apology.
