The Health Services Union has a new leadership - here is their announcement.
HSU National Elections
A new Health Service Union national leadership team has been successfully elected today.
Those elected include Chris Brown (National Secretary), Lloyd Williams (National President), Gerard Hayes (National Assistant Secretary), Dan Hill (National Senior Vice President), Tim Jacobson (National Junior Vice President), Craig McGregor (National Trustee) and Paul Elliott (National Trustee). All nominees were elected unopposed.
The result brings Kathy Jackson’s leadership role with the HSU to an end.
“This is a great step forward for the Union,” said Branch Secretary Craig McGregor. “We have come a long way over the past couple of years and while there remains a lot of work to do, this marks the start of a new and very optimistic period for the Union.”
Really? A step forward? Here are some candid moments taken from New South Wales police telephone intercepts between the old mates Michael Williamson, Gerard Hayes and Chris Brown.
