Muslim leader’s support for families of jihadis Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed Elomar

The wives and children of murderers Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed Elomar were dragged into a twisted web of terror by the Sydney jihadists.

In the makeshift Islamic State capital in Raqqa, the evil terror group photographed Sharrouf’s young sons holding assault rifles, knives and even the heads of dead Syrian soldiers.

Elomar reportedly married his best mate’s 14-year-old daughter in March and photographed her posing with an assault rifle.

While Sharrouf’s wife and children made it to Syria after he fled Australia in late 2013, Elomar’s wife Fatima and young children allegedly made a failed attempt last May.

The Daily Telegraph revealed last May that Fatima — due to face trial in November — was charged at Sydney airport with supporting incursions into a foreign state with the intention of engaging in hostile activities.

Elomar later wrote about how he would have to divorce his wife and take a new bride after the alleged reunion failed.

While Elomar’s four children are safe in Australia, Sharrouf’s five children remain stuck in Syria.

Karen Nettleton has attempted to extract her daughter Tara Nettleton and grandchildren and return them to Sydney.
