It's now one week since the ADF said it would let us know what became of General Morrison's inquiry into the Army Cadet Paedophile Williams.

Today marks 7 days since the ADF told me it would let us know what came of the April 2014 inquiry General Morrison is said to have ordered into the Paedophile Christopher Gordon Williams.

Still no response.

Today is also:

4 years, 8 months  since Julia Gillard announced General Morrison's appointment to head the Army.

Major General David Morrison, AO to be the Chief of Army.

Major General David Morrison has wide ranging command experience having served as the Head of Military Strategic Commitments and Deputy Chief of Army. In that position he led the review into Army's command and control structure which resulted in reform initiatives to ensure Army is able to sustain its current and future operational tempo. Major General Morrison is currently serving as Army's first Forces Commander.

Almost 10 years since the Federal Magistrates' Court affirmed the Chief of Air Force's decision that Williams was not a fit and proper person to work with Air Force Cadets.

CHRISTOPHER GORDON WILLIAMS

Applicant

And

CHIEF OF AIR FORCE

Respondent

Almost 4 years since Williams was allowed to join the Army Cadets as an officer working with children despite the above. A short time laster complaints from female cadets about Williams were lodged - and apparently ignored.

2 years, 8 months since Williams became a Facebook friend with a 13 year old girl, exchanging 2,800 messages with her over the next two months, many obscene and sexually explicit.  That's precisely as David Morrison gave his "standard you walk past" speech about diversity and sexually explicit emails.

2 years,  5 months since Williams was arrested and charged with grooming the girl for sex.

1 year, 10 months since I received a tip off from people who were desperate about the Army's lack of action over Williams who was still working with Army Cadets as young as 12.  He was stood aside the day my story ran in The Australian.

1 year, 9 months and 3 weeks since Williams pleaded guilty to using a carriage service to send an indecent message to a 13 year old.

21 months and 3 weeks since Defence wrote to me to say:

Following your previous enquiry regarding this matter on 8 April 2014, Defence can advise that;

  • the Chief of Army, Lieutenant General David Morrison, AO, has directed an inquiry into the allegations, including Australian Army Cadets (AAC) policies, procedures and management of complaints,

So far we are none the wiser.   General Morrison took personal responsibility for this matter when he publicly stated he had directed the inquiry.   At the very least we and the parents of cadets, as young as 12, should know how this debacle happened.

I will keep you posted.
