Correcting the record, my apology to Senator Ian MacDonald - Ian voted for Tony Abbott, not Turnbull as we erroneously reported

I hope Senator Ian MacDonald might be good enough to accept my apology for the inadvertent inclusion of his name in a list of those Liberals who voted to oust Tony Abbott in favour of Turnbull last year.

The offending article originally published here on 31 March this year has been removed.

Ian thought enough of us to write today and let me know about my error - here's his note.

Michael,

Someone as just drawn my attention for the first time to your post of 31 March “who stabbed Abbott” – apparently regurgitating something you did at the time of the vote.

Not that it matters much now but it is inaccurate as far as I am concerned, as a cursory glance at my web site of media interviews both BEFORE and AFTER  the vote, would show I voted for Abbott – not that i didn’t have my issues with him.

Bur strangely people with an agenda still quote this inaccurate bull.

If you believe in accuracy and fact, you may want to correct the record.  I did try to ‘comment ‘ on the blog but my comment was not accepted.

Having said that I will do what I can to get Turnbull elected, as the alternative would be horrific for Australia.

Cheers
