Which team is the ADF leadership batting for?

Why can't we let soldiers be soldiers?
Amply spread throughout civil society is a taxpayer funded range of do-gooders dedicated to the pursuit of gender diversity, equal opportunity, black reconciliation, eradication of Islamophobia, gay rights, transgender transitional arrangements and the discovery of other wrongs awaiting righting.
Why do our military chiefs feel the need to replace them?
Last week we reported on the letter to The Australian newspaper written by outraged Chiefs of our defence forces sensitive to criticism of their efforts to "ensure that we have a culture of inclusion. A culture that ensures the needs of various groups within our workforce can be accommodated so they can perform at their best".
The ADF Chiefs - for that is their title - saw it as "somewhat disappointing that The Australian through a series of reports and editorials over the past few months, finds it necessary to undermine the efforts of the ADF to bring about needed cultural change".
I find it somewhat disappointing that the chiefs of the ADF did not leap to the defence of the services when Fairfax set about a series of false and misleading reports accusing the ADF of participation in genocide.
Nor did the combined Chiefs defend the malicious and false slur against former SASR Captain Andrew Hastie when Fairfax smeared him.
Yesterday Fairfax reported that "episodes that have angered the hierarchy include having topless barmaids at the Special Air Service Campbell Barracks in Perth".
The culture at the top of the ADF was established by Gillard's appointment of its senior Chief ranks.
Gillard is gone but the culture lingers.
Drop the attention seeking and very selective political correctness please Chiefs. And get on with Defence.
