I've had the black dog come to visit for a while after a near-miss traffic accident. I would never have thought it possible if I'd not experienced it, but an hour or so after the incident I was reliving something unpleasant from the police force days, first person, experiential, present tense.

I'm OK now but resting tonight and back tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.
