Turnbull's dissembling is biting him on the backside big time.

1.    Islam is homophobic.  Homosexuality is amongst the worst of sins in Islam and is punishable by execution.   

2.    The Quran is the direct word of Islam's god.   It can't be changed, it is perfect forever, it can't be updated.  The Quran proscribes homosexuality and prescribes the penalty.

3.    Sheik Shady Al-Suleiman is amongst the most senior Islamic Imams in Australia.  He is the national president of the Australian National Imams Council.   His teachings accord with Islamic traditions as set out in the Quran, surah and haddiths.  His sermons are very widely published.

4.    As President of the National Imams Council, Sheik Shady was invited to the Prime Minister's Ramadan dinner.   Note he was invited because of his seniority and authenticity as an Islamic scholar.

5.    The Sheik has done nothing wrong in the eyes of Islam.   He is true to Islam and its teachings, particularly about homosexuality.

6.    Last night when the Sheik's Islamic teachings became widely known to Australians, most of us reacted with outrage towards him.   Newspapers characterised him as a "hate preacher".   There was very little reporting of the fact that this senior Imam is doing nothing more r less than following in the way of Muhammad and Islam.

7.    Once "his" teachings became an issue, Turnbull released a statement saying it was a mistake to invite the Sheik, "clearly an oversight".

QUESTIONS

Why is it a mistake to invite Australia's most senior Islamic Imam to an event held in honour of Islam?   He is being entirely faithful to the pervert Muhammad's teachings and the Quran.

But more importantly, Mr Turnbull - why are you against preachers who tell the truth about Islam, while at the same time you are a dedicated supporter of the source of their teachings.

Islam.

Cut the crap Malcolm. Islam is a bigoted murderous cult.  

Stop fighting for Islam and start fighting for us.
