Best news! Muso of WA is back in his best form.

After a weekend reviewing thousands of pages about Rudd's Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute alongside Clinton Foundation data I've just received the best news in ages.

Muso of WA is back and he is in his best form.

Muso, I have missed you.

Hi Michael,

Long time no see. I have, to put it mildly, been distracted. No MSN no MSM very little telly and no ABC at all!

Bliss.

Without boring you with too much detail, I am now in a space that is no longer the pre-death experience my retirement had turned into.

There is just so much going on and only so much absorption possible. The space chosen has very poor web connections and my awakened passion for clips that you saw fit to run has been submerged under a brand new life and style of living. All good.

Here is a comment that I wanted to make and after much spinning of the webwheel it uploaded. Hope you and your merry band of bloggers like it.

Muso of WA

Muso, as so often happens with your work, you've really moved me.

It's as if a Wendy Brown comment just sprung up.

Your work always touches a chord - I was unprepared in this piece for the face of an old mate Barnaby and when the words and images match like they did at that moment - it gets you where you live.

Welcome back old mate, great news on the health front, your work will always have a loving home here.

Michael

We're being sued because we didn't do a good enough job for the illegal boat that sank on Christmas Island

UPDATE

A short time ago I sent this note to the Attorney General's Department.

I refer to the Class Action proceedings arising from the sinking of SIEV 221 at Christmas Island in December 2010

SUPREME COURT OF NEW SOUTH WALES
Ibrahimi & Ors v Commonwealth of Australia
(Proceeding 2013/377410)

REQUEST

May I ask please
1. Has any taxpayer funding been provided to the plaintiffs. Is any planned? If so how much has it cost?
2. Have any services or support of any kind been provided to the plaintiffs by the taxpayer. Do we plan to provide any? If so what's it going to cost us?
3. What is a reasonable estimate of the Commonwealth's costs so far - and if possible its projected costs to the conclusion of the matter.
4. Will the Commonwealth settle the matter or defend it to a trial and judgement.

Thank you

Michael Smith
www.michaelsmithnews.com

I've asked that they respond by close of business Monday.   Will keep you posted.

UPDATE ENDS.

You didn't know you were being sued for your negligence over an illegal Centrelink seeker boat?

You are.  The case  is back in court on 26 September in Sydney and it looks like the plaintiffs legal team is dishing the dirt.

Here's a report from a contact on Christmas Island - remember we have quite a few eyes and ears there.

The legal team of 4 from George Newhouse are on island to gather info on the class action by survivors of SIEV 221.

These parasites x 4 flew out at $700+ each one way, assuming they came from Perth, for 4 days of muck raking.

A few points I find very interesting......

1. These "CRIMMIGRANTS" paid criminals to passage them ILLEGALLY to Xmas Island.

2. The boat was disabled by the crew to insure it would be rescued by authorities...I have it on hear say be reliable sources that a SIEV which is rescued is entitled to faster processing, and compensation for hardship. (have not been able to confirm this, you may have more luck)

3. Why is it that the coroners report list so many ALIAS'S?  Why do "genuine refugees" need to pay for a new passport and a new identity?

4. Australians have been forced to place their lives in jeopardy to rescue these irresponsible freeloaders

5. Flown them to Sydney and return to attend funerals

6. BEING SUED FOR SAVING THEIR UNGRATEFUL ARSES!!!!!

WHERE IS THE COMPENSATION FOR THE XMAS ISLAND RESIDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN FORCED TO DEAL WITH TRAGEDY AFTER TRAGEDY, HAD THEIR ISLAND TURNED UPSIDE DOWN?.......the silence is deafening, but then that is the Aussie way.

We get knocked down, we brush ourselves off, and get back to the job at hand.  THIS IS WHY THESE WHO ARRIVE WITH THE VICTIM MENTALITY WILL NEVER BE AUSTRALIANS.

I was at the memorial, where once again the tax payer footed the bill to fly the "survivors" to the island for the service.

I was disgusted by the film crew and the orchestrated wailing, just for the camera, I left, I could not stand the prompted theatrics any longer.......

I went to Christmas Island as part of the Go Back to Where you Came From show.

I said the same thing in this promo as I've said publicly for years - Islamism is the greatest threat to the future of the civilised world.

As Churchill put it:

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live..........the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

I watched that promo for the first time in years this morning - I've been looking for a particular piece of footage from the time I spent on Christmas Island.

996

One afternoon when every wave hitting Christmas Island was like the Kiama Blowhole in a good southerly, I visited the home of a lovely bloke who's seen so much death now I don't think it will ever leave him.

You see, he did his best to help the people on board Illegal Entry Vessel 221.  And as he showed me the video footage he took of kids dying at sea I could see he was there at the rescue again.  Like he is most nights.

A bloke called Median Ibrahimi wasn't on SIEV 221.  He wasn't on Christmas Island at the time.  He says he is related to someone who died in the reckless trip.

IBRAHIMI is suing us.

He says that from the moment the vessel illegally entered our waters it was forfeited to the Commonwealth for its crime at sea - and therefore became our responsibility.   He reckons we were responsible for its unseaworthiness, no lifejackets, overcrowding, no flares, no safety equipment, "failed" engine (others say sabotaged) and now his mental anguish and pain because he says he is related to someone who died.

These are some of the people who are suing you.  They're seeking others to join their "class" action.

Class is one thing they have none of.

Rudd's "friend" and his indiscreet and unnecessary display of his own and his "friend"'s character

What a spectacle.

What an unnecessary show.

When I was a boy the TV show Perfect Match was all the rage.  The host Greg Evans could do a very effective line in piss-taking when one of the panel of 3 men vying for a debutante's affections was manifestly not "up to the job".

One day my dad came home from work and his mate Pat dropped around for a beer.  I had the privilege of eaves-dropping as they discussed a young bloke at dad's work, let's call him Darryl.

Darryl was a bit slow and apparently unacquainted with shampoo and toothpaste.  The other cool young blokes at work had the forms for Perfect Match all filled out for Darryl describing him as a surfy from Cronulla who was thinking about going pro - they had the envelope addressed and stamped and were pissing themselves at morning tea ready to send it when dad walked in.

I'll never forget the way dad spoke about that young bloke's dignity.  He told Pat the other blokes wanted to egg Darryl on to watch him "make a gig of himself".

Dad still had the forms and envelope screwed up safely in his pocket when he got home after giving the piss takers a piece of his mind.

Mates don't treat mates badly, particularly in public.

Malcolm says he is Rudd's friend.

How did it ever get to this?

Rudd hasn't changed between his first display of UN ambition.  How did his friend not tell him - privately - he would not get the nod?

How in God's name did it ever come before Cabinet?  How did we know the date and the hour such a personally sensitive public show would come before Cabinet?  How did we get to know of the weakness and inability of the Cabinet to make a call? How on earth did we get wind - so publicly - of Turnbull's leadership failure on this issue?

And how could a friend so publicly do this to his friend, when a simple early statement "The Australian Government will not be presenting a candidate" would have done the job perfectly?

Dog.

Rudd's response from the news.

Even when Turnbull talks about his "friend" on a matter that is so personally sensitive for his friend - and Australia - Turnbull makes it about himself.

It all had to boil down to "look at me".

Another moment of decisive Turnbull in the spotlight.

Putting aside personal considerations, sacrificing for the national interest - no matter how painful and what ever personal cost.........

I think we've seen enough now Malcolm.  Far too much.

Go and start using your wealth to do some bloody good will you.

I know plenty of people around where I am whose lives you could transform if you came and lived among them.

And Australia would be eternally grateful to you.

And now because of Turnbull's ineptitude, the cracks within his Cabinet have been uncovered.

Bunnings won't be able to keep up the supply of crowbars.

ENDS

UPDATE - here's StevenJ's take on it.

Steve J said:
I'm not pushing Rudds barrow. I think he couldn't lead thirsty cattle to water. However there appears to be a few questions flowing from this spectacle.

1.Turnbulls assessment of 2010 doesn't seem to have prevented his numerous expressions of support for Rudds application.
2.That support according to Rudd extended over a period when Turnbull was communications minister ie before he rolled Abbott.
3. Turnbull is supposed to have told Rudd that putting the matter before cabinet was simply for window dressing purposes to avoid the endorsement being labelled a captain pick.

If Abbott had remained PM what assurance does Rudd receive from Turnbulls apparent backing? Why even talk to Turnbull about it unless he thought he might soon be in a position to follow through on it. To me the reference to the formality of cabinet approval shows his attitude clearly. The only thing preventing this approach was the election result.

If he ever gets in a position where he has a comfortable majority we will see Mal the magnificent in all his glory.

Finally if Turbull's spin about the decision having been made in May is correct why go through the farce of putting it before cabinet again last week? To me the situation looks fairly clear. Turnbull and Bishop were telling Rudd that they had him covered well before deposing Abbott. Right up to the Election Turnbull still held that position and intended to ram it through once he had been comfortably returned. There has been an assertion of power by cabinet. He's been rolled. They can't be open about that so the plebs have been told that the decision has been left to him as a face saver for the exalted one.

US Rep. Marsha Blackburn asks IRS to "dig into the $millions Aust Govt agencies shovelled into Clinton Foundation"

EXCLUSIVE: Clinton Foundation Got $20M From ‘Down Under’? Or $88M

IRS investigators should dig into the millions of dollars of unresolved reporting disparities on exactly how much money Australian government agencies shoveled into the Clinton Foundation, Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee tells The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Clinton Foundation listings include contributions from the Commonwealth of Australia and the Australian Agency for International Development in a range between totals of $20 million and $50 million. The foundation does not provide the date of the contributions.

Even with the highest number — $50 million — in the range, however, there is a disparity of as much as $39 million with reports from the Australian government. Using the foundation’s lowest number of $20 million, the disparity could be as much as $68 million.

A September 22, 2014, statement by Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop said that “since 2006, Australia has contributed $88 million to [the Clinton Health Access Initiative] and its sister organization, the Clinton Foundation.”

The $88 million figure Bishop claimed was contradicted earlier this week when Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade released documents under that nation’s Freedom of Information laws. The documents included a listing of 11 separate grants to the Clinton Foundation, its HIV/AIDS, CHAI and a “China Clinton Foundation” that totaled almost $71 million.

The disparity prompted Blackburn, vice-chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, to tell TheDCNF that “reports have shown that the Clinton Foundation has failed to accurately report tens of millions of dollars in foreign government grants, including some while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state.”

Blackburn said she first raised the issue with the IRS in a May 2015 letter to the federal tax agency’s chief, John Koskinen. Earlier this week, Koskinen told Blackburn that he had asked the IRS exempt organizations division to determine whether the Clinton Foundation uses a “pay-to-play” strategy in its operations.

Koskinen was responding to a July 15, 2016, letter carrying the signatures of Blackburn and 64 other Republican members of the House of Representatives.

“This should be troubling to all Americans as it gives the appearance that there could be a pay-to-play arrangement between the Clintons and foreign governments while the interests of the American people were pushed aside. The tax-exempt status of the foundation should be reviewed immediately,” Blackburn told TheDCNF.

A variety of factors complicate resolving disparities, including the lack of precise dates and amounts in the Foundation’s published donor tallies, the variability in the official exchange rate between U.S. and Australian currency and uncertainty about the reliability of the foundation’s tax returns and consolidated financial statements. (RELATED: “Clinton Foundation Auditor Has Troubled Regulatory History”)

Further complicating efforts to resolve multi-million dollar disparities is the foundation’s longstanding failure to observe ‘good governance’ practices recommended by non-profit experts. (RELATED: “Clinton Foundation Ignored All Best Practices For ‘Good Governance”)

A related issue concerns whether the Clinton Foundation complied with longstanding tax rules that require an exempt non-profit to get prior approval from the IRS for changes in its charitable purpose. The foundation was granted IRS exemption for the purpose of building and operating former President Bill Clinton’s presidential library in Arkansas.

Charles Ortel, a non-profit accounting expert, contends the foundation lacks IRS approval for overseas activities.

“The Clinton Foundation provides no credible evidence on its website (principle interface w the public) that it lawfully obtained clearance from the IRS to pursue international activities of any kind,” Oretel told TheDCNF.

“It also provides no consistent evidence concerning the extent of its foreign operations, or the financial consequences of these activities.

“Regarding Australia, the Clinton Foundation does not explain how much money it sourced from the Australian government, how it spent these sums, whether it registered lawfully to solicit inside Australia, and whether it registered in nations including China, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Papua New Guinea, to deploy donations from Australia and other donors in these places.”

A spokesman for the Clinton Foundation did not respond to a request for comment by TheDCNF.

In this sign ✟ he conquered - vale Padre Les Thompson, late of 6RAR incl Battle of Long Tan, SVN 1966

Vale Padre.  Thank you for your service.

The boys are all back home now Padre.

Lest We Forget.

Screen Shot 2016-07-29 at 12.21.11 am

Padre Lester "Les" Thompson, 21 December 1928 to 26 July 2016 - pictured with 6RAR in SVN 1966, always with his flock.

'As a young lad I enlisted in the British Commonwealth Occupation Force ... I was a digger in 67 Battalion, located in the Hiroshima and upper hill country searching ammunition tunnels. In those days I never thought of Church but as an Anglican I was most impressed with the RC Padre who seemed to appear whenever we were on the move.'

Padre Thompson told Les McAuley (in 'The Battle of Long Tan', p 8) that he had put his age up from 16 to 19 in order to enlist. He returned to Australia and later became a Christian in 1956 'at the age of 28' and soon after joined the clergy. He was ordained in January 1963, and was given this Communion Set by his mother to mark the occasion. When serving at Grafton Cathedral in 1964, a parishioner made the box in which the kit is stored.

Screen Shot 2016-07-29 at 12.39.32 am

McAuley relates that Thompson was asked to join the Army Chaplain's Department in 1965 and 'was pleased to find on arrival in 6RAR that he knew a few officers and Warrant Offices from his own days as a digger'. Once at Nui Dat, Thompson usually carried the Communion set in an old Second World War knapsack (see main image above AWM image above where Thompson is resting his elbow on the set).

Chaplain Thompson was with 6RAR at the Nui Dat Base on 18 August 1966 during D Company's action at Long Tan and offered to travel with the A Company relief force to tend the wounded Australians on the battlefield. His offer was rejected by Lieutenant Colonel Townsend who was sure the APCs would bring the wounded back to the Task Force Headquarters. Ultimately the wounded were directly evacuated by Helicopter to 35 American Casavac Hospital at Vung Tau. Chaplain Thompson toured the battlefield the next morning and found 'dead bodies everywhere. As you jumped off the chopper, they were there. ... I was glad I was the Chaplain, I was sorry I was there. I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else, but I wished I was a thousand miles away.'

He flew on by helicopter the next morning to visit the Australian wounded in hospital, 'then went back to write to the families of all the casualties'.

Just a call out for Chaplain Lester (Les) Thompson
Vietnam (Chap)
Headquarters, 1st Australian Task Force

Royal Australian Army Chaplains Department
Padre Les Thompson passed away late on Tue 26 July in Brisbane, aged 87+.

Funeral tomorrow 29 July. Some reflections from  http://2rar-association.net.au/news/

If my memory is any good, he was well regarded as a soldier before becoming a minister. I knew him as a Chaplain at Duntroon. Rest in Peace Padre
Peter Howe

I remember Padre Les Thompson well. He was C of E and served us in 6RAR for the first six months of our tour (1966-67) during our heady introduction to Vietnam, with Long Tan and other serious battles with the Viet Cong previous to that, and others to come.  In an earlier life Les Thompson had served as a digger in 67th Australian Infantry Battalion (later 3RAR) in Japan in 1946-47.
Les was at my company command post during the early stages of the Battle of Long Tan and together with me and my company headquarters staff listened in on several command net radios to the unfolding saga.   Later that year during Operation Vaucluse in the Nui Dinh Mountains, on 10 September 1966, Les was with the Battalion in the field during heavy contact with the enemy and helped with administering to a very seriously wounded soldier of my company before he was lifted out in an heroic effort by a US Army Dustoff helicopter.

Les was an excellent Chaplain who understood and related well to the diggers, and indeed all ranks, and was a pleasant and amiable companion to all of us in that awful place that was Nui Dat. I am sorry to hear of his death and my condolences go to his family and friends.
Brian McFarlane

Les was irrepressibly good-humoured and had a wonderful mischievous streak. He was very popular with the diggers and had served with 6 in Singapore as well as earlier in SVN. He and my first 2IC George Mansford were a treat to have around the HQ at any time. Amongst his very best friends in the Chaplains Dept were RC Chaplains Gerry Cudmore (deceased) and Eugene Harley (Hon Padre 2RAR) and it is recorded that they often got up to mischief together.
Peter Stokes

At the going down of the sun

And in the morning

We will remember them

Lest We Forget

O Lord, we pray Thee that the soul of Thy priest,

Thy servant Padre Les, which, while he abode in this world,

Thou didst adorn with sacred gifts, may ever rejoice in a glorious place in heaven.

Requiescat In Pace

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

KRUDD to Hillary "Let us know if we can help with anything". "Anything" was a $10M donation to the Clinton Foundation.

There are no free rides with Clinton Inc.

If you want to play with the Clintons - you pay.

Here's the Clintons Pay to Play in action.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 9.39.28 am

Kevin Rudd was always an easy touch - dazzled by star-power.

We'll pick up KRudd's story in November 2007.  He'd just been elected Prime Minister and Hillary Clinton was running against Obama for the Democratic Party's presidential nod.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 6.08.18 am

Climate change dominated Rudd's term in office - his first official act was to sign the Kyoto Protocol.

Ms Clinton clearly knew about Rudd and his pet projects.  Climate Change was on her money -making mind too.

In March and April 2008 Rudd and wife Therese Rein took off on a 3 week round the world trip, spending a great deal of time in Washington DC and at the UN in New York.  It would be the first of endless trips to New York and Washington to be with the rich and powerful.  And famous.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 6.20.53 am

On 1 April 2008 our time, Rudd met with Hillary Clinton for a 40 minute private session.  As they emerged the Australian media contingent gathered.

The Age's Michelle Grattan filed this report about the events of that day.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 9.30.32 am

Grattan's report includes this account of the Rudd/Clinton meeting.

"As one candidate myself who knows what it’s like to be on the campaign trail, I have every, every, sympathy for what Hillary has ahead of her," he said after their meeting. To which she replied: "I appreciate that."

Bill Clinton has invited him to address a climate change function he is involved in.

It is said this was the context of Rudd’s intriguing, softly spoken sentence to Clinton: "Let us know if we can help with anything."

Rudd's "let us know if we can help with anything" to Hillary certainly raised eyebrows.  It was a peculiar thing for an Australian Prime Minister to say to a US Senator notorious for aggressive fundraising in her campaign to beat Obama to the White House.

You can make out the audio in this report from the ABC

Apparently there was something Kevin could help the Clintons with.Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.49.35 am

After announcing the creation of the Carbon Institute, Rudd jetted off to New York.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 9.39.28 am

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.44.12 am

One launch wasn't enough for Rudd.  The G8 was meeting in L'Aquila, Italy the following July.  The lure of Obama et al was too much for the star-seeker to resist.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.22.37 am

It's painful to watch his fawning - and his dismissal by contemporaries.

And that is Rudd's fatal flaw. The lure of celebrity is irresistible to him. He had no hope of resisting the Clintons.

So did the Clintons take him up on his offer to

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 9.39.28 am

Apparently.  Because Rudd's Global Carbon Capture Institute handed over a cool $10,000,000 in real, cold hard Australian taxpayer dollars to the Clinton Foundation.

A donation. Washed through Rudd's Global Carbon Capture Institute.   A donation thinly disguised with a wafer thin cover story -  the greatest load of waffly non-specific, non-tied, non-FOI-able bulltish you are ever likely to see.

There is no legal entity known as the Clinton Climate Initiative.   The money went into the consolidated and very flexible Clinton Foundation.

What did Australian taxpayers get for our $10 million?

Nothing.

What did Kevin Rudd get?

This.

Up until this breakfast Rudd had not met Bill Clinton.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 12.14.03 pm

So how much did Clinton know about the most well-informed, well-read, intelligent leader in the world today?

He certainly didn't know his name.

After their breakfast together Clinton saw Rudd for the second time at his Clinton extravaganza where he introduced our TEN MILLION DOLLAR MAN, as Mr Rude.

There is apparently no depth beyond which the Rudd will not descend to satisfy his craving for fame.

In exchange for our $10M The Rudd got to sit with the grown-ups at the Clinton extravaganza fun fest event.

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 12.29.16 pm

What do you reckon is on Bill Clinton's mind?  Detailed programmatic specificity or one of the sorts he funded with our $10M?  Work with me - if you didn't laugh you'd have to go postal wouldn't you?

Check out this $10M snap.

The Rudd must have been knocked about something shocking at school - how is this shit-eating grin after Slick Willy mispronounced Mr Rude's name?

When I was at the Police Academy I'm sure we learned a special name for dishonestly appropriating property including money belonging to another with the intention to permanently deprive the other of it.  And there was one for dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage.  Theft!  And Fraud!

Some blokes get their kicks putting other people's money through the pokies.

Some go crazy on the porno channel and red turbo spa room.

Some use OPM for their reno when the boyfriend - while they're away - just rips the internals out of the house.

As a psychological case study, KRudd makes Hannibal Lector sound like a bit-too-excited weirdo who might flash the wedding tackle here and there.

Rudd gets his jollies from stringing big words together into phrases that are so long and unintelligible to most of his audience that by the time he gets to one of the paranthetical clause insertion points as a trademark rhetorical flair deployed for the fanciest and increasingly esoteric buffs in sufficient.............

Still sounds like knocking off other people's money for your own jollies no matter how you dress it up to me.

Greens Lin Hatfield Dodds starts creating the new society as Deputy Secretary of one of Turnbull's Monstrous Departments

On 8 May this year we published a detailed post about Turnbull's decision to appoint his close friend and former Greens Senate Candidate Lin Hatfield Dodds as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Social Policy.

The appointment was made in May but not announced (then or now) we only found out about it through an inadvertent disclosure in a Senate Estimates hearing.   The Government of Turnbull timed Hatfield Dodds's commencement date for after the election campaign.

Well she's there.  No official announcement.  No media.   No press statement.   And as far as I can see no other public confirmation (beyond Turnbull's revised and frightening org chart) that Ms Hatfield Dodds has commenced to build our new society.

So here it is!

THE Organisation Chart for Turnbull's mini-empire within the empire that is the Government of Turnbull.

This is in addition to the Special Ministers of the Crown advising the Prime Minister on pet topics.

His DPM&C is like its own Mini-Turnbull-World within the real world of Ministers and Departments.

Turnbull's close personal staff - his Media people, political advisers, support team etc are in addition.

So instead of Turnbull say ringing up Julie Bishop for foreign affairs advice, he has his own mini foreign affairs department within his own DPMC.

Bizarre.

First Martin Parkinson, the world's greatest Secretary who needs 4 secretaries (by any other name) and 9 Deputy Secretaries to keep his in-tray neat.

Let's start on the left hand side of the DPM&C organisational chart (above) and work across.  You reckon this is going to be painful to read?  Try writing about it!

The 1st of the 9 Deputy Secretaries is David Gruen, Economic.

His Department on the left and my approximation of the Ministers and their departments he duplicates on the right (with Turnbull looking over their shoulder).

There is (of course) a Department of Innovation in DPM&C.

National Security - bereft of fair dinkum advice on Islam because National Security has nothing to do with......

Two more Deputy Secretary level bosses doing national security - note nowhere is there an advisor on how to deal with Islam at all while Aborigines are very big Turnbull business.

And then a dead-set army of people spread across the country 'doing things' for Aborigines.  Of course, as always, this is in addition to the Aborigine specialists in the Minister's Department and the other armies of Aborigine specialists in every other department.  Fair dinkum!

Note also that the Aborigine department in Turnbull's Mini World has an Associate Secretary title and a box in the org chart that's elevated above the mere Deputy Secretaries.  OK!!!  GOT THAT!

I have done quite a few jobs sizing up businesses for reform.

I would relish to chance to go line by line through Turnbull's costs.

What an unconscionable waste of money, spent in the pursuit of magnificence.
