Aspiring journalists, prosecutors and parliamentarians - study Trey Gowdy at work

Trey is one of those rare people who says what he believes to be true.

Not what he's been told is true.  Not what everyone else thinks is true.

I admire him because conventional wisdom means nothing to him.

He relies on his own scholarship and reasoning to inform his opinions.

Most people go through life trying to look good, reduce risk and survive.

For most people the most important thing is to be right.

Trey Gowdy is not like them.

Perhaps the most important characteristic in Gowdy's make up is the courage to stick to his convictions and principles regardless of what others say.

Even if that means he hasn't the time to find a decent barber - nobody's perfect!
