The earnest statement from the Over-Actors Equity union is hilarious.  If you've not been following the US Presidential election campaign Over-Actors Equity has a handy tear out and keep "This Election is About" section.

Over Actors Equity says the election is about:

• should people carry guns in theatres
• should young gay people be tortured
• should America admit defeat, apologise to taxpayers and stop funding the Department of Education

I have to admit to waiting for the punchline in reading this statement.   But there's no hint of irony, no facetious lines,  this is the real deal.

The Actors Trade Union is endorsing one the world's most polished pretenders to play the role of leader of the free world.
