Labor Party raffles Slipper's "women's c*nts are like mussels" speech memorabilia

You might recall that Julia Gillard as Prime Minister poached Peter Slipper from the Liberal Party.
To get the fabulous Member for Mussels she first had to roll a very good Speaker in Harry Jenkins. Sorry Harry.
Slipper was a man of great worth - he priced himself very highly. Luckily Julia Gillard didn't give a flying flop what Slipper wanted if he was prepared to abandon Tony Abbott and the Liberals. He could name his price. And he did!
Gillard rewarded Slipper's conversion to the Gillard cause with the lace collars, black silky robes, long stockings and the other regalia he'd longed to get his hands on as Speaker of the House.
Slipper loved it. Remember his joy at prancing around in the black silky gear and his relationships with his young male staffer?
Sadly not everyone loved Slipper and his lacy dress-ups as much as Julia Gillard did. It all came to a head in a now infamous court case where Slipper's fabulously revealing text messages were subpoenaed and published by the Federal Court of Australia.
Gillard had scored big time in making Slipper the presiding officer of the House. Slipper drew attention to the cause of women and their genitals like no MP before him. Her man, responsible for meeting, greeting and escorting foreign heads of state and dignitaries was way out in front of anything tame old Donald Trumps had to say about women and their tracts. Slipper's attitudes to women and his bewilderment that some men 'actually like c*nts' which he thought were really just awful like "mussels in a bottle of brine" were well known. But Gillard lapped it up.
Imagine the joy Gillard would have felt in greeting say, Hillary Clinton with Slipper by her side along with his musings on mussels published for the world to see.
When the Federal Court published Slippers general treatise on women's genitalia and men's bottoms that lousy misogynist Tony Abbott rose in the House of Representatives to make an impassioned speech.
Misogynist Abbott said a man who's published those sorts of comments demeaning women and their girly bits couldn't remain in the job as Speaker of the House. The Misogynist Abbott thought it would probably be a bit awkward for Slipper to meet and greet women dignitaries after he'd shared his thoughts about their mussels with the world along with his personal preferences for other bits and pieces.
Fortunately for the cause of a man like Slipper and his right to call out mussels in brine when he saw women, Gillard rose to oppose misogynist Abbott and gave an impassioned speech in support of Brine Boy Peter.
And now the Labor Party is commemorating her now infamous speech.
What a bunch of maggots.
