I'll have a more complete report later - but for now I want to say thank you to the many readers of this site who took the time to write to Google and governments about our website.

You were joined in that endeavour by a few very serious players who are committed to the freedoms of our Western democracies and our free and open markets.

The restoration shouldn't have been necessary, so it's no cause for celebration.   The ease with which we could be "offed" then put back as if nothing had happened is chilling.

I won't telegraph our punches, but I want you to know that living through a Google attack like this one and the 2014 shutdown is frightening.   The weapons of mass destruction that this un-policed online thug has amassed are diabolical.    When Google deploys against you there's no coalition of the willing or 911 emergency to call on for rescue.  It's up to Google to put back on what it had offed.  No corporation should have that power.

It's the sort of thing you have to live through to understand.   I'm thankful there were so many of us who lived this experience together.  We all know that no one should be able to do what Google did and get away with it.   I'll let you know what happens next.
