Only one thing let's the poor challenge the rich, the powerless challenge the powerful

Thanks to reader Nanny for the tip about Trey Gowdy's speech.

As I watched it I thought about Gillard and Craig Thomson misleading the House and about corrupt union officials with slush funds and fantastic wealth.  The only time the law is enforced with any of them is if they blow the whistle on the capers.

Ludwig, Melham, Shorten, Gillard and Wilson are all hunky dory.

Elsewhere Gowdy said, "It's the law that allows the poor to challenge the rich, the powerless to challenge the powerful. And so it must be enforced".

Here's Obama in 2014 tell the Congress that there's a new law - Obama - a law unto himself.
