ABC News in support of renters. Trouble is it's advocacy, not news and not balanced.

The latest national snapshot of the state of renting a home in Australia does not paint a pretty picture https://t.co/kzNnEYvKLr pic.twitter.com/co1zerQ9qO

There isn't so much as an attempt at balance.
The tone's set - so what's the news ABC?
Really? Putting up with? And all tenants are in poor-quality housing?
It gets worse. And nothing at all to balance it. There's nothing about the owners concerns, poor tenants, late payers, property damage, inaction by tribunals, difficulties in evicting occupants in breach.
The ABC has gone to considerable trouble to produce this glitzy production number.
And it's presented with the authority of the ABC News brand.
But it's not news.
It's one sided blatant advocacy for a pressure group.
And the ABC does it because it can.
