Comey was dismissed over his mishandling of the Clinton investigation.
This is the memorandum from Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein that led to President Trump dismissing Comey.
Rod Rosenstein uses the word "wrong" twice and finishes the note with a strong indication that corrective action on the conclusion of the Clinton investigation is still outstanding.
