Never have the different standards in news reporting been clearer.

If it's about Clinton/the Left and it's bad - it's not newsworthy.

If it's about Trump/the Right it doesn't even have to be bad.

Vague innuendo will do; as long as Trump or his nearest have done something - anything - well it must be bad, OK?

I've been wondering why the Trump Jr meeting with a woman from Russia is such a huge drama.

The disclosure that Donald Trump Jr. hosted a meeting with a well-connected Russian lawyer in June 2016 has raised new questions for the White House. WSJ's Gerald F. Seib explains why this meeting is a problem for the Trump team.

Seib's analysis boils down to 3 points.

OK - so the problem is it looks like collaboration, it suggests previous denials of meetings with Russia weren't true and that begs the question - what else is out there?

Here's an email that - other than on our website - has had absolutely no reporting at all.

It details a private meeting between Hillary Clinton's campaign chief John Podesta with Chinese ambassador at 3rd party's home - in January last year.

And who was the 3rd party?

The former Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kurt M. Campbell, AO, CNZM (yes the Order of Australia for his work on US/Aus relations).

You'd never know it took place.

Because no matter what Hillary did, she could do no wrong in the mainstream media's judgement.

And that's one of the main reasons Trump is in the White House.
