Remember our East Timor veteran Ash?

88 days ago his orthopaedic surgeon and psych medicos agreed he needed a mobility scooter.

After a visit to his home from the Deputy Prime Minister and some other interventions, the scooter arrived yesterday.

In typical old digger style, Ash's thoughts are with his best mate, man's best friend.

Here's Ash's note today"

Well it finally arrived yesterday.......I bet I'm going to have one very tired service dog tonight.

Good on you mate!

Get well soon - and double up on the doggy biscuit rations today!
