NSW Government email asking staff to switch things off because the power grid can't cope

How utterly shameful.

Rather than build power plants, the NSW Government asks its departments to turn off their air conditioners on a hot day - or set them to 26C. Rather defeats the purpose of having them I'd have thought.

Switch things off on a hot day because we can’t cope.
