Think of this young family - our neighbours - in Papua New Guinea today. They deserve better.

A little boy died today.
While I'm writing his mum and dad are walking through a torrential storm, carrying his little body home.
To bury him.
Ezekiel's mum and dad will be walking for the next 6 or 8 hours.
Barefoot on steep and slippery dirt tracks.
Can you imagine his mum's grief carrying him on her back?
The people of Papua New Guinea are our neighbours.
Our mates.
Why is it that so many Australians will take to the streets for so-called refugees - but families like Ezekiel's mean nothing to them?
Why do Marise Payne and Julie Bishop send millions of our money to the Middle East and the useless UN - while the people of PNG routinely endure unimaginable suffering like this?
This is Sally Lloyd from Mougulu PNG. Sally posted this to Facebook a short time ago.
God bless you Sally.
And Rest in Peace Ezekiel.
