This is a shocker.

The $75 and $125 cash sugar hits reek of a government that couldn't come up with anything better. What would you prefer - a government that addressed people's energy concerns or one that did nothing productive on power then cut cheques just out from an election.

Morrison's mantra about a "strong economy" rings a bit hollow to me too. If they'd been putting in the hard yards reducing the size of government, cutting expenditures and cutting out waste they'd have something to hang their hat on. But they haven't. They've been outspending Labor and now this final Labor-lite effort with the cash giveaway.

Like I said - Scott Morrison's got nothin'.
