Bettina Arndt adds her voice to calls for Bill Shorten rape allegations to be properly scrutinised

Good on Bettina Arndt.

It's awful to watch the #MeToo movement and more pointedly the Labor Party (particularly its women) bleat on with "We Believe You" slogans when they ignore or worse still attack a victim simply because her alleged attacker is one of their own.

How come Bill Shorten avoids proper scrutiny regarding the rape accusations against him while male students on campuses can have their lives derailed on the basis of a mere allegation? Finally more details of the story are emerging. https://t.co/m51MriWEaK pic.twitter.com/INXzLyzAmP
