Fmr HSU chief Kathy Jackson back in Victoria's County Court on Monday
Saturday, 22 June 2019
At her last appearance JACKSON's counsel told the court that The Defendant would make an application for a permanent stay of the prosecution against her.
That would mean Ms JACKSON wouldn't defend the charges.
Ms JACKSON didn't present a substantive defence to the civil case brought against her by the HSU either.
JACKSON and her legal team are entitled to ask the court for a permanent stay of the Crown's prosecution.
The history of stay-applications, however suggests that the odds are not in Ms JACKSON's favour.
