From my mate - WO1 John Franklin

It was great to welcome home soldiers from the 7th Combat Brigade today, who have been deployed in Iraq for the last 8 months. Amongst them were our own soldiers from the 1st Regiment Royal Australian Artillery.

A combined acoustic group from the Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery and Australian Army Band Brisbane set the mood for emotional family reunions as our troops filed into the arrival hall. A huge thank you to all who served.
