Vale Walter (Wally) Scott-Smith OAM, Chief Keeper of The Cenotaph, Sydney. Lest We Forget.

One of the great characters of Sydney Mr Walter (Wally) Scott-Smith has died. Wally dedicated his life to looking after the Martin Place Cenotaph for 78 years. He was honoured by the Governor when he retired from duties as Custodian last year aged 96. A lovely bloke!

Rest in Peace Wally and thank you for your exemplary, selfless service.
