Clinton Foundation HQ in Australia - regulatory reports overdue, staff gone and the lawn needs mowing

This is 22b Kardinia Crescent, Warranwood, Victoria - Australia.

It's the Australian headquarters for the registered pretend charity Clinton Health Access Initiative Australia Limited - CHAI.

Maybe it'd look a bit more "corporate" with signage.

Nope.  Still looks like an old weatherboard house on the outskirts of Melbourne.

But it's home to CHAI which replaced the Clinton HIV/Aids Initiative - CHAI after it was dissolved by US regulators.

Here's their Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission entry

So what's an Australian registered charity doing operating in the UK and South Africa?

Good question!

They certainly weren't completing and filing their accounts on time - they still haven't submitted 2018 yet.

The ACNC tells us that the 3 "responsible people"  in charge of the Australian CHAI are Corrie Martin, Elya Tagar and Melinda Stanley.

According to her LinkedIn, Corrie Martin never lived in Australia and left the Clinton organisation(s) in May this year.

Elya Tagar works in New York running a robotic concern - he left the Clinton fold before Corrie in February this year.

The Clinton Foundation in Australia -

  • HQ in a shabby, rundown joint out where the buses don't run
  • financial reports overdue
  • operations in random offshore locations
  • pretending to be a charity
  • staff gone missing

what a perfect metaphor for The Clintons.

PS - Australian taxpayers - you might want to make your feelings known to the Australian charities regulator here
