Update on the Coronavirus

From Ralph Blewitt in memory of Private Ray Binning, KIA South Vietnam on this day, 1968. Lest We Forget.

Vietnam Veteran Ralph Blewitt who served with Ray Binning in 2RAR in Vietnam wrote to me a short time ago:

Would you mind posting on your site please mate?

Australia day is good time to remind people of the sacrifice of Australian's in the Vietnam war.

Consider it done.

Ray Binning represents all those who've given their lives so we can be free.

Lest We Forget.

Today we pause to remember the life and service of 4410704 Private Raymond Binning, who was killed in action on the 26th of January 1968 whilst serving in South Vietnam.

Originally from Adelaide, South Australia, Raymond volunteered to serve in the ARA in 1967, and deployed with 2RAR to South Vietnam in May that year. He was tragically killed in action on the 26th of January 1968 at the height of the Tet Offensive during a patrol in Bien Hoa Province as part of Operation COBURG.

Raymond was 21 at the time of his death.

Lest we forget.
