NZ Government paid Clinton Foundation millions for deliverables like "costs to engage govt stakeholders" in Ethiopia

Here are some truly frightening extracts from NZ government Clinton Foundation files.

In 2014 the CF was acting as the agent of the NZ government in various agricultural and food production businesses, including factories in Rwanda, Ethiopia and Namibia.

Here is one shocking extract from a CF report dated 1 FEB to 31 DEC 2014 entitled "Reducing malnutrition and increasing agricultural incomes - Ethiopia".

Costs incurred in paying off government stakeholders.

And the money came from New Zealand taxpayers.

While the FOI information I have has redacted the actual dollar amounts paid to the CF - the activities undertaken in return for NZ taxpayers money defy belief.

My God.

That is obscene.

Non-output specific costs.

Develop proposal costs.

Global non-output specific costs.

They might as well have written in "Pay for Chelsea's wedding".

And there's worse.

New Zealand taxpayers paid money to get into this in Rwanda:

The IFC is partnering with the agent of the NZ Government, the Clinton Health Access Initiative "to capitalize the revolving loan fund for farmers....moving forward on an expedited timeline....using the forward contracts as collateral".

New Zealand taxpayers must be thrilled with the various ticket-clippers copping their whack as NZ hard-earned dollars trickle into the pockets of wealthy shysters.

This is a huge scandal.

I'm only 20 minutes into reading hundreds of pages of FOI material courtesy of Charles Ortel but my stomach is already turning.

Heads must surely roll.

And the Clintons' should be first among them.
