"Japs Gone - Extract Digit" - Allied POWs sign on roof of Japanese camp liberated 75 years ago

Thanks to Geoffrey Gold for the tip on the Allied Operation Dracula which liberated Rangoon, Burma 75 years ago - Geoffrey writes:

I've just read that 75 years ago Allied forces, including the Indian 26th Division and a Gurkha parachute battalion, retook Rangoon from the Japanese ("Operation Dracula"), effectively ending WW2 in Burma (Myanmar).

Over Insein prison, planes spotted these messages by POWs ready for liberation.

Allied POWs, sense of humour intact with this unmistakable message on the roof of their camp!
