This is so good to see.

Indonesia's Army and Police are profoundly influential in Indonesian society.

This is an important public statement of support for Indonesia's Christian community.

The central tenet of Indonesia's constitutional make-up is Pancasila, or Five Principles which provide for social justice for the whole of Indonesia.

Indonesia has never adopted Islam as its official religion - along with Islam it recognises

• Christianity (Catholicism and Protestantism)
• Hinduism (along with various animist traditions)
• Buddhism, and
• Confucianism

Here's an exceptionally strong and positive statement of Indonesia's support for her Christian population.
